Savannah

We had the best time in Savannah this past weekend. Savannah is such a charming city, full of beautiful architecture, the best little local shops, and some of the most delicious restaurants. Bobby and I got lucky and found a place on airbnb.com that was walking distance to everything. If you haven’t heard of airbnb yet, then you have to check it out! It’s a really cool site where people rent our their homes for reasonable prices. I want to stay here next. :) I’m so happy we got to spend the weekend with my parents and aunt & uncle. We ate really good food, got to enjoy the beautiful city & all the cute homes, did a little window shopping, and we went on a ghost tour. The ghost tour was creepy, but very interesting. They told us other facts and history about Savannah too. I totally recommend going on one if you visit. The best part about the trip was the weather. It was perfect! Georgia weather is always crazy, but this past weekend it wasn’t too hot or too cold. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! :) I can’t believe it’s 9 days till Christmas! Ahh! SO excited!

Congrats to Conny who won our giveaway! Thank you to everyone who entered! :D

Smells Like Christmas Spirit

It’s the time of year again when we McCullough’s rack our brains for the very best Christmas card ideas. Ever  since we got Pinterest famous back in 2011 we try our best to top those and every year since then. Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, so this is quickly becoming my favorite part of the ‘ol holly jolly month. Sequins just scream holiday & Kaylee Daily so I knew I wanted those to be apart of this year’s photos, and this skirt that Space 46 Boutique sent me fit so perfectly. I can’t thank them enough for this beautiful skirt. My wonderful husband had full reign over our second shoot, so I’ll him tell you a little bit about those. :)

Hey, Bobby here. I feel like I just crashed a glitter party… should I even be here? Anyway, The night before our shoot I had the idea of a Kurt Cobain inspired photo shoot. Or I guess you could also say Urban Outfitters inspired if you’re not down with Nirvana. 90′s is in, ladies. Needless to say, Kaylee wasn’t thrilled with my last minute decision making at first but we ended up having a blast. I’m just glad I’ve got her to be crazy with. We’re always crazy with each other. I just wanted our photos to reflect that.

Big thank you to Haley Sheffield, our amazing friend and photographer, Space 46 Boutique, and Sarah Gilbert, our sweet friend and lady behind Sarah Elizabeth Makeup Artistry, for dolling up my face!
Merry Christmas!

Graphic Tee Thursday : Bull Head

You gals know I LOVE a good grey graphic tee. If you were to look in my drawers right this second you would get lost in a sea of grey tees. No lie. Ask my husband. It’s kind of embarrassingly awesome if I do say so myself. I love grey tees and I cannot lie. I’m kinda picky when it comes to the way they fit and the material. This MuMu tee I snagged from Riffraff last month is the perfect example. It’s flowy, super soft, and has a great graphic on the front. I’m used to my grey tees being very simple. I love black writing, but this tee grabbed my attention with its bull head adorned with a colorful flower crown. Sadly, it’s sold out at Riffraff, but I’ll place a link below that I think you’ll love! You can either dress up or down this tee and the best part is that it can be worn all year long! :)

Winter

I completely forgot to ask you guys how your Thanksgiving was! How rude?! Hope your’s was awesome! I have so much to be thankful for, and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving, stuffing our faces with our families. I can’t believe it’s already December! Christmas is right around the corner, so I’m trying my best to soak it all in before it’s gone. I might be in the Christmas spirit if this crazy weather would stop being in the high 70′s. Such a bummer! I’m crossing my fingers we get a cold front real soon, ’cause this outfit I’m wearing below is dying to be worn again! This sweater is the absolute coziest sweater I own. I love how over-sized it is and the lace detailing adds a sweet touch. The beanie and scarf make the outfit more fun and playful. I’m still getting the hang of tying a blanket scarf. It’s a little overwhelming on little ‘ol me. :) Hope you all are having a great week and are getting the cold weather I’m hoping for!

Candy Canes & Cocktails

It’s always such a delight working with local boutiques. I have been styling with Rumor for quite a while now and I’ve been working at Head Over Heels for a little over a year. The holidays are always the best time of year around our little shopping center, and this Thursday we are having a little event called Candy Canes & Cocktails. Rumor will be doing 25% off of all their holiday attire, just like the dress I am wearing below. They have such a great selection of fun, sparkly dresses that will be perfect for any Christmas and New Years Eve party! Head Over Heels is THE best place in our area for shoes, and I’m not just saying that ’cause I work there. ;) We carry the best brands and have such great accessories to finish off your holiday look. We will also be joining in on the fun with a draw-your-discount for select items from 25%-50% off! Can’t wait to see all you Middle Georgia ladies this Thursday from 5-8! :) Be sure to follow along on their Instagram here and here and Facebook for more details!

THANKS

So I may have totally copied this outfit from Urban Outfitters. What?! Sometimes us fashion bloggers need a little help and this outfit was screaming my name! :) So to you, Urban Outfitters, I thank you for putting together perfect outfits and making my job a little easier. ;) I hope you all have the happiest Thanksgiving, and to everyone of you that follow along, pin my outfits for inspiration, send me the sweetest emails, and all the friends I’ve made along the way, I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Y’all make this blogging thing a lot more fun.

Mint Julep

I am so excited to introduce y’all to The Mint Julep Boutique. They contacted me a couple of weeks ago to do a collaboration and I just had the best experience working with them. Their tag line rings so true too, “Flawless style. Impeccable service.” They have so many items that made my eyes go all heart shaped. They sent me this aztec cardigan and I just love it! I love getting new pieces to style, and this season of styling is my absolute favorite. I’ve just started to get into hats. I wasn’t sure if I could pull them off, but I’m having fun trying out different styles & sizes. A huge thank you goes out to The Mint Julep Boutique for adding the finishing touch to my outfit. This cardigan is just what my closet needed!

How was your weekend? I mentioned on Friday that one of my friends was getting married, so that was the highlight of ours. We had the best time celebrating her and her new husband. I have this really great group of friends and it’s so exciting how we are all growing up and getting married and having babies. I can’t believe I’ve been married for 3 1/2 years. It’s so fun being married to your best friend. Everyday really is an adventure. I am ridiculously happy and I hope it stays that way forever.

Celebrate

There is so much to be excited about right now. Thanksgiving is next week, which is instant happiness because, hello, cranberry sauce. Mm Mmm. One of my dearest friends is getting married this weekend. I can’t wait to see her in her dress and celebrate with her and her new hubby. So much to be happy about, and did I mention our house is all decked for Christmas?! It just goes by way too fast not to decorate early!

Speaking of Christmas, have you gals checked out all the new arrivals at Riffraff? They just launched a new look book called the Wish List, and trust me you don’t want to miss all the plaid, sparkly goodness. My love for sequins & the color grey knows no bounds, so of course I had to add this top to my ever growing collection. I love how light it is so I can wear it alone on the warmer days or layer it up on the colder ones.

Happy Friday!
