If you can’t tell, I’m digging this whole yellow and lavender combo! Since getting my hair done it has been so fun playing with different colors and how they look with my hair. When I ordered this dress from Riffraff I already had in mind that I wanted to wear it with my new do. I’m always thinking ahead with my style choices. The confetti added a nice touch don’t you think?
One of my favorite songs. Are you fan of Elton John? He just has some of the best classics.
I obviously named this post that because of the awesomeness that is this romper! Holy moly! I have been on the hunt for a denim romper for a while now. I know what you’re thinking, yes I have a problem. This will probably make my 10th romper. I can’t help it. They are so practical and playful. Rumor, my favorite local boutique always carries the best brands and choices of clothing for all seasons. This shade of blue is perfect for summer. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what accessories and shoes I was going to wear. These shoes are amazing. They are insanely comfortable and I’m really into flatforms right now. They give me just the right amount of height. I added a fun headscarf and finished the look with some arm candy and my saweet ban.do clutch.
Btw, helllooooo lavender! Ever since I got it done I feel like me again. So so good! I’ll be doing a full post on it soon!
Happy Friday, y’all!
I have probably said this a million times on here, but I love love love how the Internet brings people together. I have met some of the coolest people and gotten to wear some really awesome clothes and accessories that these people have made. One of these amazing people is Sarah! She is such a cutie and her Instagram is full of color & whimsy. You must follow her, @sarahlapp !
Sarah makes turbans at her online shop called Daisy Natives. When she contacted me to style a few I couldn’t type back fast enough! The patterns and colors are very Kaylee Daily and are so great when you want to add a little something to your outfit. This ice cream print was an obvious choice. I loved pairing it with my Prada necklace from another super awesome friend I made through Instagram. Check out her shop here!
Doesn’t this top remind you of cotton candy?! As I was browsing through one of my favorite boutiques, Rumor, it caught my eye and I immediately thought of cotton candy. I’m constantly trying to add more colors to my wardrobe, especially since it’s warming up. I’m all about pinks and yellows right now. I knew this top would be so fun to style and it was a nice match to my new sunglasses. You may not know this about me, but I love collecting sunglasses. It’s a problem. I like to have a variety to choose from. I’m loving the cat eye look the most right now.
Sending sunshine your way! We are having a beautiful day here!
This past weekend was the absolute best! I love Easter and this time of year so much. The weather was perfect and we got to spend time with family. What else do you need? How was your weekend? We have a ton of leftover candy so I have a feeling I’ll be on a sugar high all week!
I LOVE rompers. I don’t know what it is about them, but once the weather starts warming up that’s all I buy. They are so comfy and easy to style. Riffraff carries one of my favorite brands, Show me your MuMu. They have such an awesome array of pretty colored patterns that make my eyes go all heart shaped. This particular romper caught my eye and I kept my fingers crossed that somehow Riffraff would carry it! Lucky me, they did and I snatched it up! I thought the colors & floral print were perfect for spring and would go so well with my new peach cross body. I’m a Georgia peach so I had to have this bag! Isn’t it the cutest?!
Happy Monday! <3
Whoa! It’s April, you guys!! I can’t believe how quick time is going by! Sorry for the lack of blog posts. I got super sick last week and all I did was blow my nose all day every day! It was awful! I’m so happy to finally see that April is here because I’m going back lavender next Tuesday!! Whooo! I can’t tell you guys how excited I am!
Goodbye March, you’ve probably been my favorite so far. We had perfect weather almost every day, celebrated birthdays, visits to my grandparents, went to see Betty Who (spotify her! She’s amazing.), had lots of porch dance parties, the cherry blossom festival, Bobby colored his hair grey, & watching the walking dead at a local craft beer cafe. Speaking of the walking dead, do any of you watch it? The season finale was craaaazzzzy! Don’t you hate how they always leave you wanting more and you have to wait till fall?! Eek! I can’t wait!
Today’s my Momma’s birthday! Yay! Happy birthday mom! Hope you have the best day!
April is already starting out right, yesterday we got a Chipotle. Holy yum! Me and Bobby stood in line for 40 minutes. Our stomachs were screaming “worth it!” Hehe.
One of the most important things that I believe needs to always look just right is… your hair! Hehe. In the south you hear all the jokes and funny quotes about hair. One of my all time favorites is “If anyone tells you your hair is too big, get rid of them. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.” I couldn’t have said it better myself, Dolly.
Here in Macon, we have a pretty good selection of salons, but I only trust the best of the best. Signature Salon, located off Bass Road, is seriously my favorite. I have been through my fair share of salons, but at Signature I always come back to the sweetest stylists, perfect products, and fabulous hair. I seriously can’t wait to go back lavender. Eek!
Signature has just started a new series where you get one-on-one time with a stylist showing you all the tips and tricks for your hair and makeup. I got to attend one a couple weeks ago on how to fill in your brows and placement of eye makeup. I’ve never done a thing to my brows, but I’ve recently been more interested in how to make them fuller and more shaped for my face. The class was such a fun experience. We learned our brow shape, the areas where we could be waxing or plucking too much away, filling in, shaping, day/night looks with eye shadows, and the placement of eye shadows. Doesn’t this sound like such a perfect night out with your girls!? The next class is how to do beach waves! If you’re in the Macon area I highly recommend you attend! Follow Signature Salon on Instagram and Facebook to keep update on dates and times!
Today is super awesome because not only is it Friday, but it’s the first day of spring! Whoo! I have been waiting for the perfect day to wear this romper, and the other day the weather was magic. I love the bright pattern and I’m a sucker for a good romper. Last night our town kicked off the Cherry Blossom festival. Not sure what that is? Well just think of a mini fair with fun activities to do throughout the week, food trucks, beautiful cherry blossom trees on every corner, and literally everything is pink! It’s a mean girls dream. Hehe. I know what I’ll be doing this weekend! Get out and enjoy this weather! <3
Congrats to Jennifer S. for winning my giveaway! Thanks so much for entering! Y’all are seriously the best!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today I’m teaming up with Rachel from Rachel Lately to bring you two fun looks that will surely save you from a few pinches. I went with a day time look since the weather here has skipped right into summer. It is hot! This dress is perfect because it’s a blank canvas that I can accessorize and change up with different colors and shoes. I opted for some green arm candy and more of a neutral layering of necklaces. How great is the donut?! Studio DIY did a post about making your own donuts and adding lucky charms and we all know how I feel about donuts, so I had to try it for myself. So good and too adorable. For info on Rachel’s night time outfit check out her blog here! I’ve been following Rachel since around the time I started my blog. That’s one of the cool things about the internet is connecting with people who love the same things you do!
Hope you have a Happy St. Pattys day! Go get a Shamrock Shake!
