I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! It’s time to pull out those oversized sweaters to cover your food baby belly and a cool hat to cover up your nap hair.
I am so excited that it is finally Thanksgiving week! This time of year is my absolute favorite. Time with family and friends, the food, the nap after you stuff your face, and the colder weather. Ahh, it’s the best!
Speaking of thankfulness, I am beyond thankful for my very best friend, Meghan. We have been friends since 9th grade and she is one of those people that I may not talk to or have seen in a year but when we get together it’s like we have never been apart. She just started doing photography, so I got her to take some photos for me. She literally just started not too long ago and she has being doing such an amazing job! I could brag on her forever, y’all!! She has sessions booked and has been learning so much! I am SO proud of her and I can’t wait to see what all it holds for her! For those of you who don’t know, her husband, Marshall, serves in the Navy and they will be living in VA for the next 4 years. Cue sad music. I am going to miss her so much, but I know this is going to be such a wonderful time for them and for her business to grow. See more of her work here!
We have a Friendsgiving to attend tonight and this outfit is perfect to throw on when you want to be comfy and cute. This sweater is so soft and is keeping me warm as the temps keep dropping.
I have worn this suede skirt way more than I would like to admit. It’s such a great color to transition in to fall/winter and it literally goes with everything. Suede button up skirts have been HUGE this year and I have to say I hope they are here to stay. I paired it with this top Rumor Boutique recently gave me, and I absolutely love the pairing. It’s like these two were made for each other. My favorite thing about a tee-shirt is how versatile it can be. You can wear it a million different ways and all year long.
Hope you have a great Friday! We are off to Atlanta to see Good Night Alive rock out!
Top: c/o Rumor
Skirt : Nasty Gal, love this one and this one too!
Booties : c/o Head Over Heels
Bracelets : Betsy Pittard Designs
Sunglasses : Anthropologie
This top has been my go-to lately. It’s so comfy and perfect for those unexpected days that aren’t cold enough for a jacket, but still too chilly for short sleeves. I love throwing this on with a pair of jeans and some converse, or how I wore it below. I dressed it a little bit with a statement necklace and some booties. I’m all about this shade of color right now too. Give me all the shades of wine/burgundy for fall, please!
Happy Wednesday! It’s almost the weekend!
We had the best time in Palm Springs! I want to go back like right now! It was such a peaceful and relaxing place. My favorite part of our whole trip was visiting Salvation Mountain. We decided to go when the sun was coming up to beat the heat and crowds of people. It was the most magical moment. After all these years I finally got to see it in person and it was everything I dreamt it would be.
If these photos don’t make you want to add this place to your bucket list, then click here and learn about the man who built it!
Two words, TAYLOR SWIFT!
Ahh!! It’s happening tomorrow! You guys if that doesn’t say happy Friday then I don’t know what does. Well, actually I do. This matching set from Cheeky Peach. It’s a stunner, y’all! It’s going to be perfect for the holidays paired with some polka dot tights. Okay, now I’m really going to have a great Friday as I dream about T. Swifty and how Christmas is right around the corner!

Can we talk about how certain styles and pieces always come back around? It’s so funny to me how clothing can go to being in style, to out of style, then back into style. A good example is the choker. Did you used to rock this dainty necklace back in the day? I know I probably did back in elementary school and thought I was too cool. Lately I have seen more and more of them and I have to say I’m a fan. They really make a statement in the simplest way. I decided to take this necklace I’ve had for awhile and just double it up into one. It’s a little too long for me anyway, so now have a piece I can wear two ways. I love it paired with this tunic I got from Riffraff. Tunics are so great when it comes to transitioning into a new season. You can wear it in the summer with shorts, or pants or leggings in the colder months. I wanted to keep my look more edgy and pair it with these awesome ripped jeans. They are such a great fit and I wish I had them in every color.
I’m back from California! We had the best trip and probably one of the best birthdays I’ll ever have. It was so nice to get away and relax with my best friend. I’ll be sharing a post about it soon, so until then let’s talk about FRINGE!
It’s huge for fall. Really, it’s huge all the time if you ask me. Who doesn’t want to wear a piece of clothing with dangling stripes that you can constantly shake throughout the day?! Fringe is so playful and can turn any skirt, jacket, or top into something fun. I paired mine with a graphic tee and some booties, but I think a simple white tee, a few bracelets, and some heels would make a great look too.
Halloween is right around the corner! Have you decided what you’re going to be yet? I’m a toss between Dolly Parton and one of Studio DIY’s awesome costumes.
This top is seriously one of my favorites. As soon as I slipped it on, I was like this is so perfect for fall. It reminded me of a mummy with the way it’s distressed and the color. I’m in love with the splitting up the sides and the open shoulders. I decided to keep this look more edgy with a dark lip and a simple necklace. It’s such a comfy top and it comes in a pretty blue color too!
I’m leaving for Palm Springs on Sunday! Be sure to follow me on Instagram, and I’ll be back the following week.
Hope you have a great weekend!
So sorry for my lack of posts. The weather here for the past week was awful. We finally saw the sun yesterday! I got really sick the end of last week too! So I’m back and I’m ready to celebrate the best month ever! Whooo! Why is it that October is so great?! Well first off, it’s my birthday month and I’m going to Palm Springs on Sunday! Ahhhh! I’m so excited!!!!
I have a new obsession and it’s called Cheeky Peach! You guys, oh my gosh! They have some of the cutest clothes in right now! Seriously I want everything! Luckily I snagged a few pieces I’ll be sharing with you these next couple of weeks, like the top below. I have so many busy tops in my closet, which I love, but I’m really getting into the basics. This top is so great to dress up or down and so fun to accessorize. I love it paired with this Betsy Pittard necklace. The mini tassels are so great and the color combination is my favorite.
